Shalkiya Lead & Zinc Mine Project is located in Kyzylorda region of Kazakhstan with a designed output of 4mtpa. The contract mainly covers Phase Ⅰ capital development & construction works and shaft restoration works, with a duration of 50 months and total contract value around 107 million US dollars.

In Q2 2020, JCHX & CCECC Consortium outshined other strong competitors depending on complementary advantages to win the contract for Shalkiya project.

The contract was signed on July 3, 2021 between JCHX & CCECC Consortium and Shalkiya Zinc LTD JSC. The project was commenced on November 20, 2021.

In recent years JCHX has achieved sustainable growth on both domestic and overseas markets, and expanded its overseas footprint to Central Asia, following Africa, Europe and Southeast Asia.
