JCHX Kamoa project completed 102% of the monthly production target in January of 2024, setting off with a good start for the 6th consecutive year.
In 2023, concerted efforts were made by JCHX Kamoa project despite of challenges and difficulties, thanks to which stable production with high volume was guaranteed, and 101% of 2023 annual target completed with a year-on-year growth of 11%. Despite of a 22% increase in 2024 annual target than that of 2023, the project will work together to ride the wave and strictly place safety production at top priority, make sure the management team personally go to the UG during each shift, and give full play to technical preventive measures.
Constant enhancement of safety management is one of the most important measures taken by the project to realize JCHX’s goal of achieving benefits via management. After reviewing the safety risks in 2023, the project specifically listed 12 safety management measures. Besides, the project detailed the regulations on requiring the management team to go to the UG to supervise shift working. In addition, to expedite challenges removing, the management team and all department heads are required to attend pre-shift meetings to disclose key safety points and keep abreast of production conditions. During night shift, both Chinese worker and local foreman will stay underground to keep watch and ensure continuous safety production management.
Strictly complying with process requirements and implement technical preventive measures are the key to improve safety production and guarantee work quality. The project has established a special inspection team to regularly and randomly inspect execution of ground support, identify and rectify any violations in a timely manner to ensure construction quality.
