Mr. Haigen HUANG, President of JCHX Mining, visited JCHX Lubambe Project and Chambishi Project from February 28 to March 1, to inspect their production and put forward work instructions for Lubambe project regarding system upgrading, production ramp up, improvement of equipment operating condition and online materials management and for Chambishi project regarding ground support for large section development, ventilation management and destocking, accompanied by Mr. Shipan ZHOU, executive GM of Human Resources Management Center.

On February 28, Mr. Huang inspected No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 declines and UG equipment running conditions at Lubambe Project. On February 29, he headed to the main shaft to check the hoisting system, hoisting capacity and shaft conditions, and inspected UG crushing chamber and surface industrial facilities including the processing plant and warehouses.

Afterwards, Mr. Huang listened to the report from Lubambe special task force and the project management team and expressed his full recognition of their efforts made for the integrated management. He also made work requests to the project, i.e. to improve equipment running conditions, to reduce equipment failure and tyre consumption, complete online materials management setup strictly as scheduled to realize accurate, efficient and delicacy planning & management of materials based on IT technologies, stabilize production and expedite development of No. 3 & 4 declines to facilitate later production, prepare production increase plan, to conduct mining at multiple layers through optimized mining method, extended declines and developing off-reef connections, increase number of stopes to improve production efficiency and output.

On March 1, Mr. Huang turned to Chambishi project to inspect UG workfaces at 332ML10# stope & 12# stope of old panel and 582ML stope & 573ML stope of new panel, and asked details of stope design parameters and work cycle time, accompanied by Mr. Weiceng ZENG, Deputy GM of Zambia Branch and Project Manager of Chambishi project.

During when, Mr. Huang highly praised the efforts made by the project to carry out safe, civilized and standardized production. He also made requests to the project to place safety at top priority, sufficiently install support and remove loose rocks, improve scaling jumbo utilization rate, strengthen safety confirmation to guarantee safe production; enhance ventilation management, strictly conduct blasting fume detection and ensure sufficient ventilation across all working areas; strengthen inventory management & proceed with destocking according to the instructions to relive inventory pressure.
